MinnCAP 2013-2014 Best Practices Awards

2014 OACAA Best Practices Awards

On January 29, 2014, the Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies along with The Ohio State University’s John Glenn School of Public Affairs, and funding from the Ohio Development Services Agency, bestowed six Community Action Agencies with Best Practice Awards, with one agency receiving two awards.

On January 30, 2013, the Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies along with The Ohio State University’s John Glenn School of Public Affairs bestowed five Community Action Agencies with Best Practice Awards, with one agency receiving two awards.

Nevada Exemplary Practices Project

This project documented the tactics utilized by top performing Nevada agencies in the employment and green jobs sector. The purpose of documenting such tactics was so that the tactics may be implemented by other employment agencies and programs throughout the country.

MinnCAP Best Practices Awards

Minnesota’s Community Action Agencies are responding to budget cuts by developing new and innovative ways to assist the state’s burgeoning population of low-income people. Eight agencies were recognized for those innovations at Minnesota Community Action Partnership’s eighth annual Best Practices Awards Event. This Minnesota-based competition is a model for other states seeking to coordinate community-based anti-poverty efforts and university systems.
