Power to the People Symposium – ACAAA

The Arkansas Community Action Agencies Association is holding a symposium for agency executives, human resource managers, administrative staff and program directors from Nov. 14-16 in Little Rock, AR. Topics will include employment laws and regulations, leadership development, conducting successful meetings, and affiliate round-table discussions.

2016 Nebraska State and Regional Community Assessment Report

Community Action of Nebraska launched the 2016 Community Assessment Survey in August 2016, mailing 10,000 surveys to residents across the state of Nebraska…With this survey, Community Action aims to discover the most pressing challenges Nebraskans face so that Community Action Agencies across the state will be better equipped to address those challenges.

2015 Nebraska Employment and Training Needs Assessment

The report from Community Action Nebraska compiles results from more than 2,000 completed surveys asking about issues related to: employment status and type; the number of hours worked; barriers to employment and training needs; types of education and training opportunities needed to improve employment; perceived access to education and training opportunities; and overall satisfaction with their workplace, compensation, and job satisfaction.

TANF Outreach Project – Oklahoma Asset Development Program

The TANF Outreach Project was established by the Oklahoma Association of Community Action Agencies to increase the impact of Earned Income Tax Credits by increasing the number of TANF and other Department of Human Services (OKDHS) clients using free tax preparation services.
