Community Action Region X Conference

The conference is being held from April 23–25 in Spokane, WA. 2015 Report on Poverty in Oregon

The Community Action Partnership of Oregon and Oregon Housing and Community Services has produced this report, which is intended to provide policymakers, advocates, and the public with the information they need to understand poverty in their communities and work together to find ways to both support existing efforts to end poverty and develop new and innovative strategies for ensuring that no one suffers through hunger, homelessness or the stress of living in poverty.

“It’s not your father’s Community Action Conference: A Symposium presenting…New Research, New Ideas and New Partners” – April 27-28 in Portland, OR. A series of provocative questions will be considered through speakers and small group discussions.

2014 CHN Census Data Summary Reports – MCA and WSCAP

The Coalition on Human Needs has issued a series of poverty reports based on the American Community Survey published last month by the Census Bureau. Reports have been released in 12 additional states and are pending three others. Social Media Toolkits are provided with published reports. Tools are provided to share the data and take action over social media.
