First State Community Action Agency Vaccinates DE!
Bernice Edwards, Executive Director of First State Community Action Agency has been a champion of the COVID-19 vaccine and has worked tirelessly to ensure equitable access to the vaccine in Delaware. The staff at First State CAA, under Bernice’s leadership, have worked countless hours to ensure that anyone who wants a vaccine is able to get it. To date, over 3,300 individuals have received their COVID-19 vaccine at a site coordinated by First State and their partners!
2021 Beneficiary of the Carroll County Times' Holiday Hope Series
On December 9th, 2021, HSP of Carroll County was featured in the Baltimore Sun, as a beneficiary of the Carroll County Times' Holiday Hope Series, which drives donations to organizations that help those in need in the community...the Holiday Hope campaign allows Human Services Programs to heavily fund its supportive employment and financial education services. These programs are designed to help about 200 people increase their income and savings
