Also watch a 10-minute history of race and social justice within Community Action.

Get perspectives from Agency CEOs, EDs, Board Members, and Community Action advocates as they discuss issues such as the role of Community Action Agencies in the area of voter access to the impact that community partnerships can have in increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the state.

Save The Date: CAAP's First Statewide DEI Summit Set For Feb. 2022

Join CAAP as we bring together leaders and partners of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for a 2-day statewide (virtual) summit on how Pennsylvanian residents, businesses and communities can collaborate to support DEI initiatives and practices.  The Summit is scheduled from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, Feb. 15 and Wednesday, Feb. 16

October is National Work and Family Month
National Work and Family Month is an annual designation observed in October.  During this time, businesses across the U.S. are asked to promote healthier and more flexible work environments.  The goal of the campaign is to remind employers about the business benefits of supporting work-life effectiveness programs.  Today, families come in all forms and structures.  Between work, family, and personal life, we all face many responsibilities every day.  Finding a healthy balance among them all is important.  Let's support families by creating work environments that recognize families come in all shapes and sizes.
