SCACAP EHS-CCP Celebrates the 2020-2021 Program Year

Each of SCACAP’s Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships (EHS-CCP) has brought the 2020-2021 program year to a close. Though ending each year can be sad, it is always positive to see the three-year-olds “graduate” from the program and celebrate their new beginnings.  This year, each EHS-CCP was afforded the opportunity to host a celebration for their students, families, and their respective community.  Due to COVID-19 precautions and safety measures, each center took a different approach to their event. The creativity and engagement were at an all-time high, and the children and families really seemed to enjoy themselves.

SCACAP provides services to thirteen (13) childcare centers in nine (9) rural counties in South Carolina. In this special edition, SCACAP is only highlighting 6 of its 13 centers. The remaining centers celebrated their Parent and Family Engagements by bringing parents and the community together through luncheons, distributing educational materials and other innovative events.
