In his memory, Eloy Salazar was recently inducted into the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs Advocacy Hall of Fame on behalf of his family…His relationship with the Illinois Migrant Council and Community Action started in 1969 when he became a community organizer. In his early years working with IMC, Eloy also obtained his education at the College of Lake County and Northern Illinois University and continued his professional development at every opportunity. Very quickly he became the Director of Field Programs and then Associate Director of Program Operations for the entire state before being selected as the Executive Director by the Board.
On August 13, 2020, the federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released its final guidance (the Final Guidance) revising sections of the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (the Uniform Guidance), 2 C.F.R. Part 200…While most provisions will not take effect until November 12, 2020, a few are effective immediately.
