Minnesota Community Action Partnership
St. Paul, Minnesota
Seeks Communications Director
Application deadline: July 10, 2020
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged our economy, Community Action Agencies were already seeing steady growth in the need for the services they provide. Now, with many experiencing loss of income combined with social isolation, it is critical that MinnCAP build its capacity to communicate broadly and effectively with community leaders, public policy makers and potential clients about the availability of services through our network, the unmet needs we are experiencing in responding to the crisis, and our efforts to provide services to currently underserved communities and communities of color.
The primary role of this position will be to dramatically increase the visibility of the MinnCAP network among key audiences and stakeholders employing a wide variety of media and strategies. The person in this position will also collaborate with other MinnCAP staff and member agencies to support a grassroots campaign to raise awareness of the statewide MinnCAP network and its proven expertise in delivering high quality anti-poverty programs and services.
See job posting to learn about MinnCAP and for more information about the position including responsibilities, work relationships and scope, skills and qualifications, and salary.
