Congratulations Susan Schoenherr, NASCSP James Gardner Weatherization Award Winner
This year’s James Gardner award winner is Susan Schoenherr. Susan served the WAP for over 26 years working at the local community action agency level working her way up from crew, to energy auditor to QCI. The last 17 years she has used the circulation of knowledge and technical skills to serve as WAP Director. In 2017, Susan transferred from Florida to ACTION Inc., the second largest WAP funded community action agency in Georgia. They have a tremendous impact on the success of the state’s WAP spend and production goals.  Prior to Susan taking over as WAP Director for ACTION, the agency was struggling with increased funding demands on staff and resources, resulting in funding de-allocations...
