$1 Billion in Additional CSBG Funding
We have achieved $1 billion in additional CSBG funding following our current distribution system as well as the language negotiated which includes 200% FPL and 2-year carryover. Additionally, the National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition (NEUAC) is reporting that Congress has proposed an additional $900 million for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to address the COVID-19 health and economic crisis sweeping the country as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) – see the full March 25th update from NCAF.

CalCAPA Academy is a growing hub for training and technical assistance in California. New features for the 2020 relaunch include a streamlined process for creating new learner accounts, tons of new content, and a little edutainment on demand.
New eLearning courses are available for Community Action stakeholders including: Staff – Program Managers – Executives – Board Members – Subcontractors.
