NeighborImpact recently ran an analysis of business start-ups facilitated under their IDA program since the program's inception in 2009…NeighborImpact's analysis shows 95 businesses launched as a result of direct investment through the IDA vehicle. That's an average of nearly 10 businesses per year. By comparison, Economic Development for Central Oregon, the region's powerhouse business recruitment and retention nonprofit, assists 30-40 businesses annually.
Some of the support Mr. Salinas received was made possible by Emergency Housing Assistance (EHA) funds that were passed through the Corvallis Community Action Agency, Community Services Consortium, to a partner agency.
Our leadership and board recently completed our 2020-2023 Strategic Plan to guide us through the coming years. It includes a new mission statement and updated vision for CAPO and Community Action in Oregon and is built on three strategic goals…
