United Community Action Partnership is seeking an experienced leader to be its next Executive Director/CEO. UCAP is one of 24 Community Action Agencies in the State of Minnesota and serves more than 22,000 residents annually throughout 13 counties. With an assigned home office in either Willmar or Marshall, Minnesota, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation and administration of UCAP, its staff and programs.
This position reports to the UCAP Board of Directors and is responsible for financial oversight of the agency’s $20 million annual operating budget and supervising its 275 employees. The Executive Director/CEO directly supervises nine employees, including eight department heads and one administrative staff.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, business administration, or related area; advanced degree preferred, and at least five years of management experience in a comparable organization, including responsibility for budget and financial oversight and the supervision of multiple staff. Non-profit, human services experience preferred.
The position offers a salary up to $113,152, negotiable depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. UCAP offers a full range of benefits, including a 401k plan. Successful candidate can select Marshall or Willmar, MN as the assigned home office. Relocation negotiable.
