Letter from Missouri CAN Executive Director

Letter from Missouri CAN’s executive director with reflections on the importance of the LIHEAP program beyond numbers served and dollars disbursed by encouraging CAAs to use “new language to identify who benefits from our services (families and communities), how what you do changes and saves lives, and what all you do on a continuum to help a family move from poverty to greater financial independence.”  A workshop on Messaging and Framing was offered by Missouri CAN earlier this year and assistance is available for agency’s interested in beginning this process with assistance from Missouri CAN.
