2019 MCAP Legislative Day, February 19, 2019 in Annapolis
- Inclusion in Maryland FY20 Operating Budget ($950,000 requested in FY20 budget)
- Strengthening the Community Action Network (funding for 2Gen and workforce development)
- Improving Access to Early Education and Childcare (expansion of Head Start and other early childhood education programs and childcare subsidies.)
- Reducing barriers for vulnerable populations through the continuance of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
- Increasing Affordable Housing (earned income tax credits, the establishment of Affordable Housing Coalitions, and funding to assist with down payments and housing counseling and support services)
