2018 Poverty Symposium

To kick off SEACAA's 2018 annual conference we are holding a day-long Poverty Symposium.
This day-long event will feature Dr. James Johnson, distinguished UNC professor, sharing his groundbreaking research on poverty & demographics, as well as, perspectives from local college & university students. With events also built around reaching out to the next generation of poverty-fighters, we will end the day with a poverty simulation, so participants can get a real-world peak at the realities of living in poverty.
