Inaugural Poverty Symposium On the Horizon

SEACAA’s first regional poverty symposium will be held Tuesday, September 18th.  Keynote speaker, Dr. James Johnson, author of "Six Disruptive Demographics That Will Change the United States Forever", will discuss how these trends will impact the future of Community Action.  The program will also include opportunities to gain insight on college students' perspectives on poverty issues and solutions and to participate in an eye opening Poverty Simulation – Agenda.

October Case Management Training Now Open!

Agencies with staff enrolled in our certification training will not only meet the critical CSBG org standard 7.9, but also be able to document staff time spent completing the course in the newly updated Community Service Block Grant Annual Report.
