...our 2018 June Professional Development Conference, which NYSCAA hosts in partnership with the New York State Weatherization Directors Association...Our opening plenary will feature the award winning film "Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope" and a facilitated conversation with Tim Hathaway of Prevent Child Abuse New York...The conference this year will include a special "Strengths Finder" seminar, as well as workshops on secondary trauma and providing trauma-informed care...
