A National Resource to Support Excellence in Community Action

2018 Opioid Forum – NCCAA

North Carolina Community Action Association

Forum web page

Overview

This day-long event will address North Carolina's battle with opioid addiction, as well as, prevention, education and possible solutions to reduce or eliminate our state's opioid epidemic.  A community-wide resource fair that is free to the public will begin at 2 p.m. and will include service providers who partner in reduction and treatment efforts.

As our state faces this epidemic that devastates already struggling low-income communities we must learn best practices and connect with others who are doing this work in order to continue to stay true to the promise of community action as we help people help themselves and each other.
