Family and Community Development Specialist Training

March 19-23 and April 23-26 including one supporting webinar
FCD Specialist is a training certification designed to equip Community Action staff with the skills, competencies and aptitudes needed for effective practice with Community Action and Head Start customers.  Sessions are focused on Poverty Awareness, Goal Setting, Assessment, Group Work, Interviewing, Coaching and Mentoring, Cultural Competency, Professional Development and Self-Care, ROMA and trends in Family Development including bundled services, trauma informed practices and family engagement.

FCD Specialist recertification is available, with this year's focus on Family Centered Coaching.
