Quin Rivers, Inc. Community Action Agency seeks an energetic, service-oriented professional to lead a dynamic non-profit organization that includes an 18-member tripartite Board of Directors, 21 personnel, and a $2.0 million annual budget. The Executive Director has responsibility for day-to-day operations and oversight of programmatic initiatives focused on promoting healthy families and the well-being and safety of targeted individuals and families residing in a nine-county, rural region of Central Virginia. Competitive candidates must possess knowledge and experience working with applicable community-based programs and services. A strong financial management background and good organizational skills are essential. The ability to communicate effectively with all agency factions and community-based partners is equally essential.
The successful candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree with coursework in business administration, human services, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred with considerable experience managing a non-profit, community-based organization successfully, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
