RPIC Region II Submits First Training and Technical Assistance Plan
As the RPIC Region II Lead Association, NYSCAA has been an active participant in the OCS-OSCOE Training and Technical Assistance Coordinating Workgroup...

On March 10, with the release of the final T/TA Template, NYSCAA convened training session for the Community Action Partnership of New Jersey and the Puerto Rico Community Action Association to discuss the process for developing their respective state T/TA plan...

The development of a regional/state T/TA planning approach reflects one of the major 2016-17 CSBG Training and Technical Assistance project goals ---“Maximizing and Aligning T/TA Resources across State CSBG Lead Agencies, State Associations, CSBG-eligible entities and national technical assistance grantees to meet the needs of the CSBG Network in the State.”

To date, the initial launch of the new T/TA template has provided NYSCAA, as the RPIC lead association, with a more global understanding of partner state needs, resources and capacity.  This valuable information will help to further define and enhance NYSCAA’s future activities in the 2017-18 grant cycle...
