Message from Kurt Brewer, Missouri CAN executive director includes state and federal budget information such as:

  • State funding for Early Childhood education and a fully funded public school foundation formula
  • Circuit Breaker State Tax Credit for vulnerable renters
  • State access to vital home health care (for some, but not all)
  • State transfer of LIHEAP funds to the WAP
  • President Trump’s proposed budget includes elimination of CSBG, LIHEP and WAP
  • Meetings with Missouri’s national legislators
