Message from Kurt Brewer, Missouri CAN executive director includes state and federal budget information such as:
- State funding for Early Childhood education and a fully funded public school foundation formula
- Circuit Breaker State Tax Credit for vulnerable renters
- State access to vital home health care (for some, but not all)
- State transfer of LIHEAP funds to the WAP
- President Trump’s proposed budget includes elimination of CSBG, LIHEP and WAP
- Meetings with Missouri’s national legislators
