WISCAP is the statewide association that supports and provides advocacy for their 18+ member Agencies spread out regionally across the state. All members share a common purpose and focus to support and create economic self-sufficiency for the state’s low-income households, each within their local region.
Due to the planned retirement of our current Executive Director, we are now looking for a new leader than can be the advocate and influential leader our organization needs. The primary focus and mission is to support and provide direction to the agency and member organizations in their mission to help people and communities become economically secure.
Our Executive Director’s role is to promote community action in Wisconsin to ensure compliance with public policy and program compliance. This includes visible and continuous advocating for state legislative funding and educating Wisconsin policymakers and the public on poverty and poverty issues. Part of this role is to also provide support, networking, and education to the member agencies on resource development and program management.
