Strong boards that are consistently and actively engaged do not, unfortunately, appear with the wave of a magic wand.
Rather, successful organizations are typically led by boards that are populated and maintained via a deliberate, strategic approach to board recruitment and engagement. Understanding the legal framework governing a CAA’s board composition is the first step on the path to effective board management and development.
In this webinar recording, we address the unique make-up of a CAA board and discuss techniques for improving board recruitment. We also explore ways to boost board member engagement by building and nurturing relationships with board members and managing seemingly unresponsive and/or contentious board members. We also discuss ways to keep your board focused on furthering and developing your organization’s strategy.
