Berks Community Action Program’s Stephan Fains Honored at Central PA African American Museum and BCAP Embraces Holy Cow! Let’s End Poverty Campaign

BCAP’s Program Coordinator for the Promoting Responsible Fatherhood Program and the YES Youth Mentor Program, Stephan Fains, is being honored by the Central Pennsylvania African American Museum of Reading in observance of Black History Month...

Back in December, CAAP wrote about a partnership with the North Carolina Community Action Association in support of their Holy Cow! Let’s End Poverty branding campaign...Since then, the Berks Community Action Program has embraced the MOOvement.  They are having fun with the new program while educating their community about the realities their low-income clients face.

LCCAP Program Participants Win National Calendar Art Contest

HUD held the National Healthy Homes Calendar Art Contest back in the fall of 2016. Children ages 4-13 were asked to submit artwork that demonstrated Healthy Homes concepts and themes...LCCAP recently announced that two of their HYPA members' artwork were chosen out of many national submissions. Their artwork is featured in the 2017 Healthy Homes calendar.
