Overview

Oregon Human Development Corporation (OHDC), a 50l(c)(3) private non-profit corporation,  is currently the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) National Farmworker Jobs Program grantee for the states of Oregon and Nevada.  OHDC has been funded by the U.S. Department of Labor to manage and operate farmworker employment and training programs continuously since 1979.  OHDC also has a variety of state and locally funded programs that serve farmworkers and other low income individuals.  The central administrative office is located in Tigard, with service offices in Hillsboro, Woodburn, Klamath Falls, Ontario, Hermiston, Hood River, Tigard, plus Fallon (Nevada).

This position, stationed in Tigard, Oregon, serves as the chief administrator of OHDC, leading the organization's anti-poverty mission: To promote economic and social advancement of farmworkers and disadvantaged  individuals through the provision of education, training, advocacy and services that promote self-sufficiency.  The Executive Director provides overall direction and leadership in managing the organization's assets guided by OHDC's mission and individual program goals.  The Executive Director is responsible for meeting all contract performance objectives while ensuring the quality of services is most impactful for those served.   This position is directly responsible for maintaining funding for existing programs and securing new funding for additional programs and services.
