General Description
The Mississippi Association of Community Action Agencies (MACAA) is a network of eighteen Community Action Agencies and Human Resource Agencies dedicated to the mission of enabling low-income Mississippians to rebuild their lives, nurture their families, revitalize their communities and become self-sufficient. This Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mississippi Association of Community Action Agencies and is ultimately responsible for its operation.
The Executive Director reports to the board of directors and is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. This position has typically been based out of the Central MS area in order to work closely with state government officials but requires travel throughout the whole state.
Exempt position
Salary: $60,000-$66,000
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree preferred in business, government/public administration, social services or a related field. Minimum of five years of complex management experience required. Community Action Network and ROMA experience preferred.
