Position Summary

Appalachian Community Action, a 501c3 non-profit, has an immediate opening for an Executive Director.  He/She will direct the administrative functions of the agency and shall enforce and carry out policies established by the Board of Directors.  Must have knowledge of the ROMA cycle, national performance indicators, organizational standards, grant writing and strategic planning.  Must oversee programs and ensure compliance with federal and state grantee requirements.  Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration or other related field is required.  Master’s degree preferred.
