Operating as the community action agency for the counties of Dane, Jefferson and Waukesha the Executive Director has the responsibility for the overall efficient and effective operation of the Agency and its programs.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing the administration of programs as well as proper financial appropriation of grants to accomplish the goals as listed in the strategic plan; maintaining effective working relationships with funding sources and government officials and developing new relationships for new resources to sustain the financial health of the agency; supervising specific employees; creating and nurturing a workplace culture consistent with the Board of Directors’ expectation of respect, inclusion and consensus-building; and reporting to the policy-making voluntary Board of Directors.
