Tax Legislation Will Impact Struggling Families

Many low-income families rely income tax credits to help meet their financial needs. However, a bill passed by the Oklahoma State Legislature will make Oklahoma's Earned Income Tax Credit non-refundable in 2016 – full story.

United Community Action Launches WorkRide

Cimarron Public Transit System, operated by United Community Action Program, has launched a new project called WorkRide to benefit low-income individuals going to and from work destinations – full story.

Training Provided at OKACAA Spring Conference

More than 165 persons registered for OKACAA's Spring Conference held May 4-6 in Oklahoma City. Training was provided for Head Start, Housing/Weatherization, Management and Services staff – conference photos.

Students Awarded Scholarships
