Seeks Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program Specialist (HSPDS)

This position will act as the head policy specialist for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Short-Term Crisis Services, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors. The position is responsible for administration of LIHEAP and other energy-related community service programs in collaboration with Community Action Agencies and energy vendors.
The position will monitor and evaluate local service providers’ progress and outcomes through the analysis of written reports and conducting on-site monitoring and agency reviews. The position provides training and technical assistance to program staff and local grantees to ensure adequate knowledge of program requirements, and must be capable of processing sensitive and difficult contracts, researching and drafting recommendations, submitting a variety of state and federal reports, conducting analytical studies and preparing memos, and may be asked to prepare legislative analysis.
Travel to all areas of Arizona is required. The salary range is $36,814 - $51,321.
