Brent Morey Testifies at State Legislative Hearing

Census Bureau Releases 2014 Statistics

The U.S. Census Bureau has released the income, poverty, and health insurance statistics compiled for 2014 through the Current Population Survey – Census Bureau Data.

LIHEAP Energy Assistance Funds Released

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families announced that over $3 billion in block grant funds have been allocated for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in its 2016 Initial Continuing Resolution. Oklahoma's share is $29,060,185. Tribal set-asides for the state totaled $3,996,103. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services operates the program which pays utilities for heating and cooling for eligible individuals.
