Network Capacity - Helping you help others

Professional Development – June marked the completion of two of our most intensive professional development series in Missouri for Community Action!

Certified Community Action Professionals (CCAP) – We had 10 CCAP candidates pass the exam and become certified this year…

Missouri Academy for Leadership & Community Action – There were 10 individuals in the Leadership Academy this year and all have progressed through the courses and portfolio development to graduate. This professional development journey involves a collaborative learning process that incorporates development, mentoring, networking opportunities, and the creation of a portfolio to explore leadership style, aptitude, and empowerment of self and others. The individuals who graduated presented community projects focusing on food insecurity, health, financial empowerment, homelessness, community infrastructure, foster care support, elderly services, and infant care. Many of these projects have already been implemented during the course of the Academy, or will be in the near future.
