CAPPY Awards Recognize Program, Staff Achievements

The awards—which were named after the national Community Action Partnership (CAP) in which ACAAA is a member, and which were patterned after the Oscars—are presented every year in the categories of “Best Production,” “Best Performance in a Leading Role,” and “Best Performance in a Supporting Role.”

Sue Hyles, White County Community Services Coordinator for Community Action Program for Central Arkansas (CAPCA), was the winner of 2015's “Best Performance in a Leading Role” category, which highlights the achievements of program managers and coordinators, center directors, supervisors, and senior administrative staff. Linda F. Smith, Community Development Specialist with Central Arkansas Development Council (CADC), was the recipient of the “Best Performance in a Supporting Role” category, an award that recognizes excellence among program and frontline staff.
