2015 Community Action Month

It is not too late to join the national movement in celebrating Community Action Month. The Community Action Partnership has shared a toolkit with a wealth of ideas and strategies for everyone to get involved – 2015 Community Action Toolkit.

Social Media and Risk Mitigation

Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn have revolutionized communication and networking capabilities. Organizations can reach populations beyond their physical borders which can increase funding capacity, reach diverse human capital/partnerships and share their 'mission and vision' with the global world. This is a great opportunity which comes with risk and questions as it relates to technological liability. What could be executed with good intentions could turn into a nightmare – see CAPLAW webinar on this topic below.
