The Facing Poverty Forum will zero in on the impact that financial hardships can have on the quality of health care that low-income people receive. A particular focus will be the intricacies of the Affordable Care Act and the related laws and policies.
Come prepared to discuss such issues as how homeless people factor into the health conversation and if they are being well-served, how many people in the local community are still uninsured and whether or not reforms are likey to reduce the health gap for children.
