People, Incorporated is a non-profit Community Action Agency and Community Development Corporation committed to providing opportunities for people to reach their goals in order to enhance their lives, families, and communities.  People Incorporated develops programs and strategies that are designed to move people and communities into the economic mainstream.

People, Incorporated Financial Services

People Incorporated Financial Services, a certified Community Development Financial Institution, promotes economic self-sufficiency and access to capital for low income residents and communities throughout its service area, providing business development and lending services, financial and credit literacy training, individual technical assistance, and marketing services to entrepreneurs to help start or expand businesses which, in turn, create jobs.  Since 1992, People Incorporated and its subsidiaries have deployed over $13 million in loans to 697 small businesses which have created or saved over 2,047 jobs.

People, Incorporated Financial Services recognized its 20th Anniversary last week with a celebration gala attended by many past and present clients, sponsors, community partners, and staff.  “These entrepreneurs and their businesses are creating jobs for residents, promoting economic self-sufficiency, encouraging economic growth, and keeping our local economies healthy,” stated Rob Goldsmith, President and CEO of People Incorporated.  Read more...
